House-Side Collection for Hazardous Waste

House-Side Collection

Residents in participating communities can dispose of household hazardous waste (HHW) just outside their doors. Clive, Johnston, Urbandale and West Des Moines partner with Metro Waste Authority to provide house-side collection.

Not a resident in these cities? Visit our Metro Hazardous Waste Drop-Off and learn how you can safely dispose or recycle these types of items.
